We believe God is calling out this generation of college students to seek and turn to Him. Our desire is for students to understand that Jesus is above all and better than anything else. Students are encouraged through relevant biblical teaching, genuine friendships, accountability, prayer and mission opportunities.

College Minister - Daniel Hood

Daniel graduated from Missouri State University in 2002 with a teaching degree. He was married to his wife, Emily, on December 16, 2000. They have a daughter named Erin and are expecting another child in February. He has been involved in student ministry for 10 years and has also taught and coached in public schools. Daniel came on to staff at the beginning of 2008. He enjoys going on dates with his wife (babysitter wanted) and playing with his daughter. He also likes to hunt, fish, and play guitar. Jack Bauer is his hero. He thinks he is the boss.

College Intern - Brianna Fleming

Bri has attended Second since she was in 6th grade. She is enrolled at Missouri State University and is majoring in Advertising and Promotion. In her free time, she enjoys random adventures, scrap booking and basking in the sun. Before coming onto staff she was an intern for Thee Camp. Bri takes care of all the food, promotions and bad jokes. She is the boss.
